English (508 KB ZIP)

Persian (560 KB ZIP)

French (384 KB ZIP)

Russian (792 KB ZIP)

German (600 KB ZIP)

Spanish (720 KB ZIP)

Recording Procedure

  1. Download the language folder that you would like to edit from one of the language options listed above.
  2. Use the Application Vox Studio to create your file.
  3. Select 8000Hz as your sample frequency.

Figure 1 – Set Sample Frequency

  1. Record your new prompt.
  2. Save your new file, giving it the exact same name as the file you are replacing. For example, the file ‘welcome.wav’ must be overwritten with your new prompt for it to function as the welcome message in playback. Use these settings in saving the file:
    • Filename – (name of original IVR prompt)
    • Save as type – Wave files (*.wav)
    • Sound Family – ITU-CCITT
    • Sound Type – G7.11 Mu-Law

Note

You must use ITU-CCITT G.711 Mu-Law, so there will not be a RIFF header. If Microsoft Windows G.711 is used, then there will a RIFF header, and there will be a noise burst when the .wav file is played.

  1. FTP your new prompt to the proper directory on the Tenor.
    • FTP to the IP address of your unit.
    • Double-click the folder name IVR.
    • Double-click the language folder that you are editing.
    • Replace the old .wav file with the new one.

  1. Update the IVR prompt with the command ‘cmd updateprompts’. You can also do this by simply resetting your Tenor.

Your new IVR prompts are now in effect.
